Monaco Dressage Training Center LLC is a premier training facility in Sanborn, NY owned and operated by USDF Silver Medalist Kristen Tona. We specialize in importing young horses and giving them a solid foundation in their training to set them up for a successful career. We take pride in our horses and providing all types of riders with healthy, sound and capable new partners. We also accept all breeds and disciplines for training. Dressage benefits every horse and Kristen works from the ground up to help break horses, diagnose training/behavior problems, and or help tune up your horse. Kristen's foundation of training is based solely on the Classical Training Pyramid and her deep knowledge of horse and rider biomechanics. Understanding this natural science helps to better understand and solve different training issues.

Kristen firmly believes that dressage can benefit every horse and rider, regardless of what style of riding they do. She has a teaching style that makes the sport of dressage fun and exciting, yet very rewarding. Rider position and stability play a huge role in successfully developing a supple and balanced horse, which is what Kristen strives to help each rider achieve. Kristen takes the time to work with her clients and set up a training program best suited for their horses' individual needs.
